mee
I was just wondering about line weight on a BladeII 2m. I use some c-lines 170 over 120kg on a 2m Buster but the Blade seems to have a great deal more power. Would the same lines be ok. Does anyone own one of these kites or what line strengths do you all use on 2m kites.

mee
I must admit I have only just aquired it, mainly by accident, but so far I have been amazed with it power and performance of such a small kite. It makes my 2m Buster look like a childs toy. I wonder why Flexi never made the Blade III 2m??????????
dmb
.... I wonder why Flexi never made the Blade III 2m?????????? I've heard that question asked a few times, doesn't seem to be any answer really, but as they extended the Mk IIIs to 8.5 and 10.5 maybe they figured the range gave better wind coverage overall than the Mk IIs. The 2.0 does pack quite a punch, I fly mine on 135/90kg lines (300/200lbs) for static recreational use.
Airborne1599968603
Same lines as dmb on my little raspberry flavoured number. Absolute scream to fly - fast, agile and still plenty of punch - it's like a stunt/power kite hybrid. One of my all time fav's.
