Ok ok ok!

What about blade 3 8.5 or 6.5....... would I be able to do big jumps whith them? I know sometimes I am bit crazy ( Onec I used a 12m parashut as a kite whith 25 m lines from bullet 1.5 once I got a 7meter jump hahaha I am still alive! But parashutes turn really slow........ thats suxxx)

Acsualy!!! On a flexifoil websuit it says that blade 6.6 has a 5.8m wingspan but on a flexifoil brashure its something like 5m wingspan?

Which one is right?

Glad you didn't do it and you're still alive NoUse!

I've got a 6.6 BladeIII and I tried to 8.5 before I bought it as I was still undecided, like yourself, between the 2. Went for the 6.6, as the 8.5, altuogh an excellent kite and good for low wind, I felt it wouldn't get much use, because it would be too much in anything over 10-12 mph (for me anyway) and that still left me with a gap in m range of kites.

I think, and I know lots of others feel the same that the 6.6 is the best Blade III in the range. Still concerns me that it's a huge leap (literallY) from a 1.5 Bullet. I presume you're not huge and heavy, so I'd say go 4.9. You'll get good jumps and lots of power and still be able to control it. :)

mate, we're not taking the pi55 but the 8.5 is still a huge step up from a 1.5 bullet, plus imho it's worse than the 10.5 because it picks up speed so fast, therefore it produces train pulling power in a fraction of a second when it accelerates - you would get far more use, and less likelyhood of killing yourself, if you went for something like a 4/4.9. even if you got the 4.9 it would still leave a gap between it and the 1.5 but at least you will still be around to fly it. if you got the 6.6 the power would still be overwhelming in even a moderate wind, so you would be flying it in a low wind, which is not where it performs at all. best thing by far is to get yourself a fly on a 4.9 in a moderate wind - the power will seem more than enough, even if you have flown a 4m b2, the 4.9 b3 blows it out the water - in 15mph if you can't jump with it then you need technique, not a massive kite:)

Dude buy the 10.5 the benifits from it will be fantastic. You will get the record for the biggest jump thats if you ever come back down again. If you do come back down you'll get a free ride to the hospital. get to play with fit nurses and eat fantastic hospital food!!!

After all you pay taxes right so you want to get your moneys worth from the government!!!!

Just messin, buy a BII 4.9 its got to be one of the best kites around. This was the first kite a brought and i love it. Scared the s**t out of me when i first flew her but now anything from 6/30 mph and i'll fly her the jumps are wild bit bumpy sometimes but wicked.

look if you want a light wind kite get a bego 600 but you will be totally overpowered and you will more than likly kill urself with that but a 4.9/4 wuld be gd and if you cant jump in 15 well learning to jump wuld be a gd start but wot confuses me is how u eva got a jump with a 1.5 i have used 1 and i know i need to have a little more expiriance but it doesnt have a huge amount of lift...??

Do you want to run through the thoughts of that arguement then phil?

£10 or less(depending on brand) to stop your kite being say lost to the sea (in a cross/offshore wind?). Save you the hassle of the 500m dash etc?

sorry but your dad is wrong, just wait til you lose one of those busters to a tree and he'll say why weren't you wearing killers? - and they are free with the blades, so too expensive? sorry, no excuse now

The 6.6 is my personal favourite, therefore a good choice anyway. Anything bigger would be too slow and too much of a niche kite. Nevertheless, there is a huge gap between your Bullet 1.5 and your Blade 6.6.

I combine my 6.6 with a 4.0 and 3.0 Blade III for average and higher winds.

I guess you'll end up wanting something in between like a 3.0 or 4.0 Blade or 3.5 Bullet.

If it's big jumps you're after, the 6.6 will be just fine !
