peajay Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 Got lifted out of my buggy on Sunday into a full superman along the ground and through the big grassy puddles, the shock was that the buggy was almost stopped, I'm a big lad at 16st. and I was "only" flying a 3m B3 couldn't believe how quick I got lifted out great laugh all the same. grommit Posted April 7, 2004 Report Posted April 7, 2004 I went for a boarding session last week at my local spot. Got caught by a huge gust 20ft up and 40yds down the field, landed cr*p, broke my leg in two places. Six weeks til the cast comes off, six weeks til im airbourne again. This sitting indoors while the winds blowing is mental. Quote

Flexifan Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 sounds painful. did u get a nice grass stain peajay? Quote
kitefreek Posted April 9, 2004 Report Posted April 9, 2004 ow, that musta hurt... even gettin dragged along the floor on ur face by a 4m blade hurts, let alone snappin ur leg in half :ouch: get well soon! Quote
peajay Posted April 11, 2004 Author Report Posted April 11, 2004 No grass stains, but lots of water and moss, good fun but got me thinking about a bigger bullet for the lower wind days as the lift on a bigger blade might be a bit too unpredictable when trying to buggy..! Quote
