easy just get some pipe lagging and duck tape it where u want it if you want it to look neater then get some tough kite like material the fits arounf the laggiung and sew velcro on either wide and string ties at either end and the lagging ias all covered

someone did this some time ago but looked very neat.

just add water sell Animall branded padding for roofracks (use it to stop your surf board getting damaged).

 

It fitted around the tubing fine and was of a reasonable thickness.

Will cost a bit more than a B&Q job but looked better as well. :p

Use duck tape then I see you have some stackers well the bag that they come in open the bottom of it, fit it over the lagging pretty cool cos its got flexifoil printed on it:D

Ther is a pipe lagging called Insull tube the wall thickness is 9mm. I used 2 sizes one inside the other then covered with some tough fabric .

28mm goes into 42mm comes in 2mtr lenths.

try your local builders merchant or Plumbase mite have it.

pogona owners need more paddin cos they are invariably old people who like to cruise the sand whilst dreaming of being young again and pullin tricks in a flexi......:D

This same formula works for me King_of_the_sky. except I bought my from a supplier that sells rubber products :-)
