yep, that bar would certainly work. the advantages are that if you're boarding then the kite becomes a bit more stable as it'll sit in one spot a bit better. you'll loose some turning speed as you wont be able to turn on brake and landing will be a bit more tricky, but whilst flying it'll be much nicer. if its in stock then go for it

yup. straight on, power lines to the outers, brake inside...

 

brakes will be slack in flight, but when u ditch the bar, the will be applied and the kite will come down... assuming you remembered to put the leash to ur wrist lol
