cdgreen Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Hi, kiteATB.co.uk is a great site to learn the basics (as well as a few tricks). Have a look and see what you think. Quote
windy Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 firstly get some body protection. a helmet is a must.elbow and knee pads if you have the funds. as for flying advice, try the kiteatb website, apparently they have some good "basics" instructions. hope this helps some. Quote

windy Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 GETTING old. thats the nicest thing anybodies said to me. i thought i was already old. :) Quote
djstu_d Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 i would suggest hooking up with some other boarders, makes life a lot easier if you can see what you should be doing. theres a few people who fly/board/buggy around the poole area, so try puting a post in the 'meets' forum. otherwise, as said above, get protection and hold on for dear life ;) Quote

rjw Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 mate, definately hook up with some other boarders. I learnt with a mate on the beach who also knew nothing about it. also hadn't heard of sites like Kite Atb, so we just made it up as we went along. hard work. much easier to ask someone to teach you. rjw Quote
