Agreed on both counts ! (With a pair of those three foot long clown shoes I reckon you might get enough of an edge to get back up some bit of the way if you don't mind looking like a bit of a d1ck ) What's with the "Kite Bag To Be" ? TheFish Posted November 5, 2003 Report Posted November 5, 2003 Scudding......................With wet park and wornout vans Quote
kam_kenneth Posted November 5, 2003 Author Report Posted November 5, 2003 LOL to be in the kite bag my kite's coming soon... Quote
sam_darke Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Jumping definately, you can scud with a bin liner plus it gets a bit boring, jumping is awesome, but my landings are not! Quote
AIR-S Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 hi all, jumping is much better espically when you get big air. but scudding is cool to when you get nice long ones. AIR-S. Quote
kam_kenneth Posted November 6, 2003 Author Report Posted November 6, 2003 yep my favourite about jumping: big air my worst thing about jumping: landing big air lol i saw it in a magazine Quote

Bob Monkhouse Posted November 6, 2003 Report Posted November 6, 2003 Fosters or Strongbow (or both) Don't scud much but mustard mitt to enjoying the occasional hooked-in waterski stylee well powered up with a 6.6 ploughing up the beach style scud. Then I generally stop tarting about and get back to the wheel deal. That's right. Bob Quote
TonyC Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Fussy - anything alcoholic slurrrrr....... Scuds for me - then again bit big and not in possession of big enough kite for jumps yet! Working on it though. Quote
NJblade_flyer Posted November 8, 2003 Report Posted November 8, 2003 Jumping isn't bad even with the big air, you gotta learn to land SOFTLY. however for this you gotta be able to learn to control the kite to the point that you can "feel" where the kite is and bring it back to zenith. Work on it and it will help... also, soft sand is best. Quote
kam_kenneth Posted November 8, 2003 Author Report Posted November 8, 2003 i find pebbles better because they break your fall even more, but if you slip or learn on your feet and then get dragged and fall on your knees ouch... Quote
kam_kenneth Posted November 8, 2003 Author Report Posted November 8, 2003 scudding is where you fly the kite through the window and it pulls you and you "slide" with it on your bum or feet. Quote
HD462 Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Yep, like said above. If you keep doing figure eights in the middle of the window you can keep the power going indefinately. Here's a vid of me scudding if you want to see it. Scudding (click me - 1.6mb) Quote
