Kiteseller Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 Just secured a deal on a v-max full race and have just sold my flexi2002 after a year. How much better is this buggy likely to be? Any tips? Quote
hasbin acharlie Posted October 27, 2003 Report Posted October 27, 2003 take it youve never had a go in one b4 then? is it a v-max or a full race? or a combination of the two? have a look at some pics to confirm wot ur buying.... or have you just got the name slightly confused? either way i dont think youl be dissapointed if your after comfort that can handle speed Quote
Kiteseller Posted October 30, 2003 Author Report Posted October 30, 2003 Cheers mate thanks for your advice. It is definitely a v-max full race without any doubt so i am looking forward to getting a blast weather permitting this weekend. will let you know how we get on together Quote
MadAndy71 Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 MMMmm...V nice buggy. Starting to think myself if I should have gone for the full race rather than the v max. Quote
Bob Monkhouse Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 You'll firkin love it mate. Went from a PL Comp to a V-Max special edition (135 fat axle) and the difference is phenomenal. Apart from the armchair luxury the difference in acceleration cos of 'notgoingsidewayness' is amazing. Was concerned I'd lose the slidingaboutiness but not the case at all. It's lush for powersliding and dead stable at high speeds. Andy - Why are you wishing you'd gone full race instead of v-max ? Only reason for me is that full races are sized and my v-max is a bit wide (between side rails) even for my fat arse. Have added some extra padding to make it snuggerer. Enjoy. Bob Quote
MadAndy71 Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Its just the camber toe bits really. Apart from that, I am more than chuffed with the v-max. Quote
desciple Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 Just caught it outta the corner of my eye Monkhouse....... If you're fond of Sand dunes and Salty air.......feckin brilliant linguistic anarchy matey. Quote
