Peter Pan1599968576 Posted September 15, 2003 Report Posted September 15, 2003 The trouble i that at the moment, councils do not appear to need an excuse to ban kite related sports. Look at Blackheath. If you drove you sports car over the speed limit and killed someone, imagine the roasting you'd get in all driving was banned!! That's the lack of understanding and concern we are up against. It doesn't matter if you fly in empty spaces with nobody to hurt, 'cos if you do a serious injury to yourself, you're hurting the activity and those who enjoy it. Yes, I agree that all sports have injuries, but our activities seem to have been singled out since that landsailing accident. (Which is a completely different sport!!) At the moment, we are not in a world were you can do as you please, as long as no one else is hurt. Quote
