bladeII4.9 Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 on powerkiteshop.com when u go to the menus there are meant to be pictures with links but they dont appear. i have tried with : Opera, Internet Explorer and AOL, i have contacted them about this but nothing has changed. anyone have problems viewing it aswell? Gaz_7.8 Posted July 7, 2003 Report Posted July 7, 2003 I don't appear to have a problem viewing the site, there are certainly no broken link/empty picture boxes that I can see. I am using Internet Explorer 6.0. Have you tried doing a full refresh (press Control Key while clicking the refresh button in I.E 6.0)? Just a thought, although it shouldn't affect your other browsers, so I'm not sure. Gaz Quote

Odd, it was working Ok for me in netscape 7.1 yesterday. Which is good as every now and then 7.1 spits the dummy and stops refreshing the screen, meaning that if I click a link the page loads but doesn't replace the one I'm looking at, or at least not all of it - flash presentations and stuff pop up in the middle of what was there. It's really annoying! I'm thinking of downgrading my browser :-) JIM Quote

Icarus1 Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I've just come off there, worked fine in IE 6. If the problem continues, try deleting your temporary internet files and see if that helps. Might do, as it's worked for me before with other sites that have been causing me problems. Not sure why it works or how, but it does help sometimes. Quote

Maj Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 aha!, twas me! i asked this question before, its in chit chat under "powerkiteshop pics". i still cant view it properly, but i can tell you what causes it on my machine, norton personal firewall. when i disable it i can view it in opera, but not in i.e, to view it in i.e i must disable the firewall, remove it from startup and then restart. that might help.
