Mark Dewick Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Does it matter how long the stacking line is between these kites? Mark Quote
Agger Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 They used to say two thirds the wingspan but lately I've heard 72 inches, not 100% sure really, but at least it's a starting point. Quote
Mell1599968579 Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 If the kites are too close the one will steal the others wind so to speak and they will misbehave..(flap around alot) ..if this happens just make the distance greater and then they will perform ok!! I used to stack these things yonks ago but cant remeber now, old age methinks!! Mell Quote

Julian_Cole Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 are the kites doin all right, Makr? Jools Quote
Mark Dewick Posted June 9, 2003 Author Report Posted June 9, 2003 Yea they are great. They are a bit jittery when stacked, so I am going to lengthen the stacking lines by 4 inches to get them to 54 inches as advised on the flexi site. I was flying them yesterday and got rained/hailed on so had to stop. How is the boarding going with your blade? That will be my next buy, but not for a while... Mark Quote

Mark Dewick Posted June 10, 2003 Author Report Posted June 10, 2003 You need to fly man!! Exams are important, but an hour of flying a day will help you concentrate on all the studying better. I know because I am doing a Masters Degree at the moment part time, and need to have diversions to survive it all!!! Can I borrow your blade for a year or so? You deserve to get yorsely a Blade 3 anyway so go ahead and trteat yourself.... Take care and fly well Mark Quote
JP- Posted June 10, 2003 Report Posted June 10, 2003 He is right. You need to have regular breaks in study so that your mind can store the info. But the breaks should not be watching tv but doing something active: flying a kite. work hard, play hard is the way to do well in exams. I do speak with some experience as I am a college lecture. And I did GCSE's about 10 years ago - although I did do no revision for mine! Quote
