Fabos Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I'm quite new to Kiteing (about a Month) and need a little advise from you experienced guys please. I've got three Pro Team 8s which I want to stack but only one stacking kit. Can I make my own, using lengths of 200lb line sleeved at each end. Or will that not be strong enough? Quote
muffy Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I wouldn't recommend making your own out of flying lines as all the stacking lines I have seem a lot thicker/stronger than normal flying lines. You can pick up stacking lines for about £3 a pair and you should get a pair whenever you purchase a Stacker 6/ ProTeam 8 or Super 10 anyway. Quote
i didnt do it Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Alo mate, You can get the stacking lines for about £3 a set, best place to get them is from http://www.thepowerkiteshop.com They will advise you on how to link it up etc, dont ring up flexifoil for advice (i rang up ages ago and a the person on the other side didnt have a clue on what she was talking about, proabably a trainee or something!!) I wouldnt reccommend using anything else, just in case they snap or something and crash land on a dog and poke its eyes out...dont risk it!!! IDDI Quote
Fabos Posted May 19, 2003 Author Report Posted May 19, 2003 Cheers for the advice guys. Don't want any mishaps. Laters. Quote
