meatloaf
Hi Does anyone use a little devil 2.1 , and notice when bringing it down it tends to spin one way.
Agger
I use Little Devils from 1.5 to 6 m and do not have this problem although I have seen others behaving as you describe, I can only assume your lines are slightly out (lengthwise). Do a check on line length and try again M8. :D :D
Andy S
LD's can be a bit of a handful to land. You need to coax them down otherwise they'll start to spin. Pulling the breaks full on will start them spinning and the smaller ones are quite difficult to stop . I have this problem with LD's - even Aggers perfectly set up ones Andy
Bob Monkhouse
I had the same problem with the 1.5 at first. Try using less brake. There's a definate knack to it but my 7yr old flies it all the time with no probs now. Cheers Bob.
Bowcaps
Mrs B has a LD 2.1 and had unequal line lengths initially and brakes caused a spin, adjusting the lines has cured this problem.
meatloaf
Thanks lads, its pleasing to know its not just my lack of technique !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
schmik1599968584
It could be technique... I can land my LD2.1 OK in a very strong wind but others have trouble landing it it a moderate wind. Practice flying backwards : go to the top of the window and spin it 180 degrees (ie pointing straight back at the ground), then fly it backwardsusing the brake lines. It will still fly towards the ground slowly but this is great for practicing brake steering. schmik
aceg3905
Yeah I have that problems some times when it is gusty or really windy, the kite just goes into a death spin. Will check my lines one day when I get chance.
Guest the guvnor
i setup a 1.5 recently, i noticed that the kite sid spin easily on braking. its porbably caused by the kite being a short width, which makes it rather sensitive to sharp turns with the brakes on. as said earlier by a few poeple, tighter break lines or un-even lines will tend to make this problem more visible...
