Adrena1in Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 So, what, is this forum for talk about Deltas and Revolutions, and other trick-kites or something, or just kiting as a sport, which, after all, means ALL kites to some of us?! Quote

Plugus Maximus Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 I'm more a practioner of chin surfing. I got a 10 metre record last weekend. Sport kiting refers to 'non' power kitng - ie tricks and pretty things. K Quote
hasbin acharlie Posted May 11, 2003 Report Posted May 11, 2003 i take my hat of to anyone who can perform any kind of tricks with deltas. cos every time i launch my beetle, i find that any kind of disaster in the air is a trick, as long as it looks imresive if i recover flight and get away with it , just before it gracfully lands on the floor in a heap! :D Quote

As the kite lifted back into the air I was supprised by a voice behind say "that was good, I bet it took a lot of practice to be that good!" I didn't know what to say, bask in the glory or burst out laughing! Tim Quote
