me and my friends go to a mountain boarding centre called haredown in chichester i think. It is not open yet but if u phone the guy who runs it then he will usually arrange something with u out of hours although it does mean having to walk up the hill. It has a few long grassy slopes, a woodland bit which i knocked a tree over in the other day by riding into it at speed and hitting it with my armpit ( excrutiating pain) and it has 2 kickers.

Go to http://www.haredown.com

besides box hill - there also a place just outside dorking which is supposed to be good (never been there my selfe) - if you go to http://www.atb.com i think they have a link of listed sites (or a link to a another site with them) - and its stated there - i think you have to park away from the site but i think is at the west side of the town off the road that goes from dorking to Guildford !!!

Honestly, you wuss, wanting "smooth grass". Nothing wrong with the rugged, rocky, rabbit-hole-ridden, sheep-poo-covered slopes of Butser!! :D

There is one slope there that would be alright though. Not that they allow mountainboards there anymore. Saw a sign up, (I'm sure it's new), saying they weren't allowed. :(

Does anybody know why ATBing is not allowed at Butser anymore?
