I've been setting it up in my house so its ready when i go out, got a really silly question though, what is the convention for the colour of the handles, which hand should blue be and which hand should red be?? Jim_bob Posted March 5, 2003 Author Report Posted March 5, 2003 ok, just seems a bit weird coz the main line on the blade where you attach the lines is blue so i thought that it would make sense to have the blue handle as the right handle but maybe not! :-) Anyway will carry on with the setting up! photek1000 Posted March 5, 2003 Report Posted March 5, 2003 Just do it how you like it doesn't matter, I use the Red for Right rule, but a lot of others refer to the sailing Port and starboard colours which would put the Red in your left hand, I'm not totally clued up on the sailing one and Red to right hand seemed sensible when got my forst 4 liner and has stuck ever since.
