Hi guys,

 

Hope your all having a nice summer, shame the wind is ass in the south right now! I hope its better for you. (I guess not if you are reading this lol)

 

I don't share fail videos, I don't even like making them or talking about them. But as a BKSA instructor I see things differently now, I was looking around on youtube and came across this Russian kitemare video, read my comments on this video.

 

Poor guy really wanted to ride but it just didnt work out, looks like he is using some ancient FS kite, I never ride or recommend anything made before 2008/2009 for safety reasons, ease of use etc. It's ok if you know what you are doing if you want to fly a older kite. But this guy clearly didn't have enough experience in that light wind in deep water with that kite. We all have had a bad day at some point, I have made mistakes in the past and even recently I had a bad launch in a dangerous area* so it can happen to anyone but most dangers can be avoided. Ride safe my bros, we only ever want SKD's.

 

ps. I am making a new tutorial video this summer, I already started filming for it. Let me know what things you want me to focus on. Its going to be a awesome all GoPro all angles from start to finish, jumping, launching, landing, high wind, low wind, flag out and lodes of other cool stuff.
