xtreme playboy Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 so how fast are the speeds if you were not to jump ? can they provide pure traction rather than just lift ? Quote
plummet Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 so how fast are the speeds if you were not to jump ? can they provide pure traction rather than just lift ? Yes you can go fast on a speed. It would kick your frenzy, pulse and method for speed and upwind ability. Its not as good as a race kite for upwind or speed. But better than the rest of the non race kites. The issue I have with a big speed is that its slow to turn. So if you want to fly dynamically sliding and changing direction often its not as much fun as a race kite in the same winds. But it is way more stable and will haul your arse fast and powerfully if you want park and ride style of riding. Quote
theobuggy Posted June 12, 2014 Author Report Posted June 12, 2014 ive had 39.6mph from mine, may have been faster but don't always us a gps! Quote
xtreme playboy Posted June 12, 2014 Report Posted June 12, 2014 Ok cool so the smallest speed is a 12m? So that would be the best for speed park and ride? Quote
Cafe.Racer Posted June 13, 2014 Report Posted June 13, 2014 No, speed 4 is also available in 8 and 10, and they have been available longer than the new lotus. Quote
theobuggy Posted June 13, 2014 Author Report Posted June 13, 2014 The 8/10m is even faster, i think the 12 is the most usable, 8mph-30mph Quote
