I managed to get a couple of weeks off. Anyone else off around the same time? Any suggestion on locations (uk or abroad) this time of year for kitesurfing?

Try blackrock sands Wales , I've a caravan there had some awesome days there.waves and nice smooth lagoon, look it up.

Hunstanton and brancaster are good places to kitesurf and north Norfolk is a nice place to be. Might be a bit too far from Bristol though?

If you are willing to put in a few miles on your travels Western Australia is blowing everyday during those dates,,board shorts weather and nearly always on 9's and 7's. Cumbuco is the obvious choice, you can fly straight off the beach or take a beach buggy to one of the nearby lagoons. You fly into Fortaleza airport then it's about 40 mins by taxi/bus if you're feeling adventurous.

 

A bit further up the coast there's also Taiba and Paracuru, Cumbuco is pretty much the easiest option though.
