jibbond3579 Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 Thought I'd call on the masses to get an opinion on the value of a 14m and 11m Bandit IV with one 55cm Airlite bar. Good condition with no repairs etc. Flown around 15 times each. My initial guess would be: Bar: £125, 11m: £550, 14m £650 (is this too much?) Any ideas would be helpful! Cheers! Quote
krafty Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 If this helps, I just got a brand new 14m B4 of ebay (action sports warehouse) for £585 delivered.. so if yours is in good nick you should get between £500-£600 on ebay, but remember they take a cut of your money, so better to sell on the here or kiteboarder... Bar price is about right if in good condition and the 11m about £450-£500, im tempted to make you an offer for it, as im thinking about upgrading my 10m B3.. Quote
jibbond3579 Posted May 13, 2012 Author Report Posted May 13, 2012 Ah, ok, cheers krafty. I'm actually looking to buy more kites as opposed to selling them. I know someone abroad who is getting rid of these kites and was wondering whether it was a good deal or not once I have accounted for postage etc, so just wanted a second opinion. I was only really considering the 11m (to add to a 7m and 9m) but am pondering on the 14m if its cheap enough. How often do you find you fly your 14m krafty and in what speed (with twintip/directional and your rider weight)? Quote
krafty Posted May 13, 2012 Report Posted May 13, 2012 I end up flying my larger kites more often than not, as i weigh 16.5 stone. Took my 14m b4 out today on my 137x41 tt in 10-13mph and found i struggled to stay upwind, but once it got past 15mph i was off like a rocket....the b4 is a quick kite in the large sizes as its light. So the range for me on it is 15-25mph....maybe more if im brave enough Quote
