Anyone any ideas of the tides/weather down there next week? - heading down to stives for the week and hoping to get some kite time in!

Where are you staying?

 

I have kited both Marazion and Gwithian... both good beaches but I prefer Gwithian when the wind is in the right direction. I am sure some more locals can help out with other links.

No, that's the only one I've found for live weather and it's obviously spot on for St Ives bay.

I take it all restrictions etc do not apply anymore?

 

I am staying right on Gwithian Towans and want to make full use of the beach!

No restrictions other than down at the Bluff which needs a permit, and obviously stay away from the surfers up at Godrevy.

Looks like I am staying up Godrevy end. Do I need to walk a bit further down away from there?

 

Also where do you get a permit from and how much?
