alec saunders Posted June 15, 2011 Report Posted June 15, 2011 Hi everyone, I currently have a 4 line vari condor bar and am looking for a way to avoid buying a 5 line bar so I can use it fly my north Vegas. Is it possible to buy a new base line section of the bar that o can simply attatch to my current bar in order to make it compatable with 5 lines. Like a base section to which I can connect 5 lines to. Thanks alot! Quote
kiteingcolin Posted June 16, 2011 Report Posted June 16, 2011 you would need to buy all the north line set up with the all important Y line with the split high up near the kite, this holds the wing tips in and prevents the kite from flareing out under power, in short the kite will not fly on a 4 line bar with a 5th line added, tried it, got the T shirt. the cost makes you say why bother, just dive in and buy a North bar complete, Ebay maybe, or give mark a ring at Boardworx to see if he has an cheap one, normally will have old bars or 09 or 2010 set ups that will be cheap (ish) Quote
