crabman Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 (edited) I'm reluctantly selling my 10m Speed2 as I've recently decided to make the move into the water and bought a couple of LEIs for that. Don't think much description is needed - it's a Speed2 and it's flippin'amazing! I'm selling the kite complete with bar, lines and bag. The kite itself is in great condition - not long had the mixer replaced and tested. Bar and lines in good nick as well. The bag...well it's a Flysurfer bag...the side pocket zips have seized, but the main one is working fine. This kite has been absolutely amazing on the land board, and in the snow it was just unreal! In an ideal world I'd be keeping this to use in the winter, but I'm afraid it's got to go . I'll be looking for around £400 + p&p. Will get some photos up at the next given opportunity (if it ever decides to stop raining...) Edited July 27, 2010 by crabman Quote

gjpo1 Posted July 19, 2010 Report Posted July 19, 2010 what would the the wind range be for me at 13.5 stone ( 86Kgs)? Quote
crabman Posted July 19, 2010 Author Report Posted July 19, 2010 what would the the wind range be for me at 13.5 stone ( 86Kgs)? It'd have you trundling from 8-10mph, and you should be able to hold it well into the upper 20s/low 30s (I've flown it in 27-30mph and I weigh around 10st). This kite has an insane amount of depower! hankster Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 crabman you'll regret selling this work of art i have one which i've had from new and wouldn't dream of selling it, i know the kite like the the back of my hand and all the settings etc.its had the fds fitted which is bloody great dont even need a stake just lay my board on the bar trust me you'll regret it.the only thing it could do with is being a bit faster thru the air as its very hard to loop you have to get a lot of height in your jump i know coz i've not made it a couple of times luckily on water.but have a bump on me for a great foil probably one of the best ever made. crabman Posted July 28, 2010 Author Report Posted July 28, 2010 You pretty much hit the nail on the head there Malcolm! I'm only selling it because I'm probably going to be spending 80% of the time on the water from now on, and until I'm no longer crap at it I want a kite that I can repeatedly dump in the drink without too much hassle. If I could afford to keep it I would! Quote
