Scribbler88 Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 K-Trac look to make some nice kite control gear, and they are apparently 'world renowned'. Can't find a single review on the 'net though. Has anyone used / bought / heard of any of their products? If the stealth DPR bar performs as well as they say it does, it looks like a bargain. LINK TO THEIR SITE Scribbler Quote
Crispy Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 I've seen their buggy towrope for sale on eBay but never seen or heard of anyone using their gear. Quote
gorf Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 Tried one of their 4-line bars once, not impressed, but then i maybe crap with bars, i prefer handles. Quote
Scribbler88 Posted June 22, 2010 Author Report Posted June 22, 2010 sorry but they look crap Fair enough - I don't know that much about kite gear. What looks to be the problem with them? Thanks for your help Scribbler Quote
peter32 Posted June 22, 2010 Report Posted June 22, 2010 they just look cheap and home made , not even very cheap for a fiver more you could get a Peter lynn http://powerkiteshop.com/images/productimages/accessories/peterlynnpowerkitecontrolba.jpg Quote
Scribbler88 Posted June 27, 2010 Author Report Posted June 27, 2010 That isn't a depower bar, as far as I can tell from the pic? Cheapest depower bar I can find (new) is at nearly twice the price of the K-trac. Still not sure if I'd take the risk without any reviews ANYWHERE (not a good way to run a business:eek:), but for what you are getting it doesn't seem bad value for money... Scribbler Quote
peter32 Posted June 27, 2010 Report Posted June 27, 2010 sorry your right its not a depower bar thought you was talking about the fixed bridal 4 line bar. but ask yourself this why is every other depower bar 2s the price? Quote
