stug45 Posted August 18, 2009 Report Posted August 18, 2009 i have the same bar (arrived today infact) but want to upgrade to 5 lines. i believe its going to be the same bar. i just think i need to adjust one of the front lines length, and get a cleat for the 5th line to attach to. or am i doing it all wrong? what parts do i need? It's done using a 20m line with a long leader (to make it up to the right length while allowing enough to be pulled through in the event of pulling the safety) going all the way through, and replacing the original front line release (Both front lines are then tied off at the top) The 'grab line' runs all the way to below the bar where it is cleated. Hard to explain in words, pictures will help, it's basically the same set up as the 2008 slingshot fuel bar. Quote
stug45 Posted August 19, 2009 Report Posted August 19, 2009 ive got mine working. old ks line (well a hydro line that was used on a blade!) and now have a really good safety (have been testing it on land) i've not got a cleat but the length of it keeps in ratio with the front two, thanks to a knot!
