The Surgeon Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 My mate's got a board cheap which has trucks with the springs on either side. The trucks are running way too loose though. I though there's be an easy way to adjust the tightness but there isn't. I've seen on more advanced versions you can compress the egg a bit or move out the springs wider to change the ride but that's not an option on these trucks. No pilot holes and no adjustment available. I took them apart and there's yellow cylindrical rubber shocks in there. Could I just glue something of the same diameter to these (like a few mill thick) and reinsert them to stiffen up the ride? Otherwise is it a case of getting some other shock rubbers? Or something I haven't thought of? Many thanks Quote

peter32 Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 just change them for harder egg shocks as tindall kind of said... but these are half the price of trampa version and will work just as well http://powerkiteshop.com/accessories/scrubelastomers.htm Quote

No pilot holes and no adjustment available. Have you checked the trucks for holes or just looked at the deck? Are the trucks anything like Scrub Channels? My Trampa downhill board came with Scrub Channel trucks but no holes on the deck to move the springs around. In this case it would just be a matter of removing the trucks and drilling the deck. Quote
