sneds Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 I cant get my twistars to fit with the current spacers that go between the truck and the hub any one know where i can purchase a set of 18mm ones as i'll still use the 22mm ones for the spare 9inch wheels. Quote
parksy Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 Hey Sneds, I had similar prob, but was looking for spacers to go inside hubs, to stop bearings being squashed together when you tighten nut, and causing stress and wear. I solved the problem by making my own from a length of aluminium tube bought from B&Q (or similar hardware store) cut down with a pipe cutter. For your needs you won't have to be that accurate with measurement, but do your best to get a straight cut, preferably find someone with a lathe, and they can cut them for you:D cheers, good luck, Steve Quote
peter32 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Posted January 25, 2009 same also luckily my old keho board had some that fitted perfect. Quote
The Surgeon Posted January 26, 2009 Report Posted January 26, 2009 I had the same problem. I just stuck em in a vice and hacksawed off the excess. After a bit of filing it was fine. I put the cut end by the truck and I was away. Quote
