Blade 2 4.9m year first made anyone?

Anyone got any idea when the Blade 2 4.9m was first made? As in what year?

 

Someone asked me recently and i've got no idea what answer to give. (Personally i could give a monkey's but it could lead to the sale of my Blade....)

I got my Sky Tiger 40 in 1997 and the blade I were just out at that point, I think the Balde II were introduced about 1999 - 2000

I know I had a MKII 4.9 and I got it about that time, and they had not been about that long.

I was going to say 2000 oc1rob before reading your post, so I guess we are near enough but don't quote me if it's wrong.

Incidentally, I still have my Sky Tiger Hi40 (also have a Hi60 & Hi80 as well).

 

More ramblings I'm afraid.
