steepsand Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Hi Mate, Have been to Bulgaria several times and would reccomend it. Look to either go Borovets (depending what you want, good night life, lots of strip bars and plenty to keep a group of lads entertained) plus good runs and nice people however limited choice of runs. Or Bansko, (more family focused but still places to hit for late nights) slopes are better kept and generally better all round for boarding. Speak to Matt Pigden ref snowkiting he runs snowwake bulgaria (based nearer to borovets), could probably sort something out. It is cheap out there however prices have risen dramatically recently, but move away from the resorts bargains and cheap beer/food can still be found. Would advise hiring gear before you go, especially if you choose Borovets. Mutter over, hope this helps. Main thing is....have fun!!!!! Quote
