metal_snapper1599968645 Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Yep, have the pink paper licence with my dads addres on it....aint lived there for like ten years....must sort it. But you need someone whos a flippin doctor or has a degree who you have known for 3 years or somthing to say that it's a true likeness to you. Quote
GrolschUK Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Unless you have one of the new bio-passports, then they just get the details from that, no signed pic needed. I need to get mine changed soon, 11+ years of a paper licence sitting in my wallet and it's in need of some TLC. Quote
Absolut Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 However.... The DVLA will be sending reminders to licence holders around two months before their 10-year anniversary yet, just in case one doesn't reach you, check the date in section 4b on the front of your licence (inc. provisionals) yourself now. If your expiry date is in 2008, renew your licence straight away. Either order a renewal pack from the DVLA or pick up the form D1 'application for a driving licences' from your nearest Post Office. I have a plastic licence and my expiry date is in 2012?? So guess that means that i wont have to renew the picture?? Maybe?? LOL Quote
cassiewoofer Posted October 22, 2008 Report Posted October 22, 2008 Yep, I've got a paper provisional (green) and am now (finally) ready to take my test! But think I've got to get a new provisional with pic to book a test as the website doesn't seem to accept the licence number! Anyone know what I have to do? Quote
