mkratty Posted September 20, 2008 Author Report Posted September 20, 2008 took the trucks off my CKB and took it to the trampoline to practice tricks, landed a front flip a few times, what is a good longboard to start with? thanks dont ask me !! im just starting i ended up just getting a cheap one 65 quid .never done it really before so dont know ? . mine is a mindless board .think lush do some nice decks tho . today was my first real session down hill .i found that carpark that had a nice slope and smooth tarmac . i noticed that in the turns i could feel the flex of the deck it was pushing me out the turns giving me more momentum ... im gonna try with a kite soon when i get a bit more wind !! bosen Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 Sorry if its a stupid question.. but what is it?! Nope not a stupid question...as me old dad says there is no such thing as a stupid question, just one you dont know the answer to... The answer is a "Wakewinch"...you dont need a boat, this will do deepwater starts, hold a 1000 ft of line to toe in, and will give a on the water speed on the gearing i'm aiming for of about 28mph flat-out... Strap it to and railing, ground anchour etc, run the line out and jump in the water, mate operates the throttle and you get a toe in, from there you can do what ever move you like, surface handle pass, backloop off a small wave etc... what ever...
