g0nz01599968659 Posted July 26, 2008 Report Posted July 26, 2008 Due to the purchase of shiny new 10m SLE I have the following surplus to requirements.... so make me an offer:) 10m Flysurfer p2 - SOLD! 5m Haka - SOLD! 6m Ozone Fury (Red, white & black) k/o in original bag, VGC. Would suit beginner buggier or boarder as a lighter wind kite. Very stable & very easy to fly, this won't dish out any unexpected suprises. Sorry no lines or handles tho. 8-5m Vio Proteus (White, red & yellow) rtf in original bag, Tidy kite, couple of sand marks (hey its white...). Center cells have zipper to reduce the size from 8m to 5m, so its two kites in one! This might sound a bit gimmicky but it works - nuff said. It's a closed cell foil with one of the best safety systems possible (5th line so it flags out). This has had a proper depower mod done, with good usable range at the bar & a trim strap. Its pretty much adjustable to suit, although it flys like a good un as it is. Suprisingly lifty;) Ive used this for ATB, Buggy & kite surfing. Has an easy water relaunch & good ground handling - MUCH less likely to get into a bridal tangle than a flysurfer..... Cheers for lookin - Dan Quote

festa Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 what's the score with the haka any chance of a deal on my sabre2 9.5m ???? Quote
g0nz01599968659 Posted July 29, 2008 Author Report Posted July 29, 2008 Hi festa - I'm trying to cut down on my currently fairly extensive kite collection.... I am open to offers though so pm me a price & you never know:) Might also consider selling the 7m haka as well if a decent offer is put in... As with the 5m its in top notch condition, rtf, Yellow Grey Orange. There is a small bridal tweak done by Surface Tension to make it easier to fly inland. Will consider p/x or swaps on 6-7m SLE for high wind shenannigans:D Dan Quote
hankster Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 what size proteus?i've had them all at some time or another you must mean the 7m proteus which zips down 20%,as it had the c-bridle mod?anyone who buys this kite will be well impressed.and even though it states 7m thats the projected size the size of foil shown to the wind it works out at 8.8m in normal sizing.i think wipica were the 1st to give their kite sizing in projected area size.they're very well made kites as gonzo states one of or the best safety systems going dead kill safety you'll have an extra line run thru d rings spliced to the right centre line which will in turn connect to the right wing tip and flag out with total depower when initiated.if any info is needed on these great kites go to http://www.powerkite.me.com Quote
festa Posted July 30, 2008 Report Posted July 30, 2008 sorry budd i need to get rid of the sabre just trying to find some sort of deal if you change your mind let me know cheers bud Quote

The Vio has a proper depower system done on it (it works the same as my Gin Eskimo) with 2 pulleys on each side. This pulls the B,C,D lines proportionally so the canopy doesn't crease or owt - just like an Eskimo, Frenzy etc. This mod gives you the option to tweak both the steering and the AoA independantly to suit the rider. It's really quite an easy kite to get along with & the construction is pretty good. Would make a good budget option for someone after a first depower & who wants to eventually give kite surfing a go but can't afford a flysurfer... I have a photo of me kite surfing with it, which I'll stick up later. Im looking for £170 ono. Quote
