As an airplane guy I found this discussion to be very interesting as aerodynamics applied to kites. A good base from which to move on to those forces and configurations that relate to our interactions with the kite, and what we can do to modify the flight regimens that we have to deal with. For instance, how do I modify the stall that occurs at the edge of the window. What are the effects of altering the line length, which through drag appears to alter the angle of attack of the foil. This discussion, while interesting, now needs someone to relate the science to our reality.
