  1. Had mine over a year now - grip tape on pegs, fat foam on rails (bust a rib on the originals) and new spacers and bearings in the wheels. Otherwise stock - had it over 30mph and and it goes right where I point it. yes I could have paid loads more but it's not my only toy and it goes in the boot. (NB I'm 6'4" and 90kgs so it's working hard)
  2. I have a set of non-pro handles which look similar but with naff sleeves. Saw the pro winders and made something similar. The winding facility works a treat. NB my sleeves also fell out.

    eolo radsail buggy

Started on the slippery slope when I saw this in costco for silly money complete with 3m radsail and helmet (under £200 as I recall). I'm 6'4" and 90kg and just manage to squeeze in, though could do with another couple of inches on the top tube. Seat is comfy and has a fair amount of adjustment - I can get 4 " off the ground if I need to, but could be more durable. General build quality is pretty good - seems to be all stainless steel with fairly neat welds, no corrosion apparent despite unintentional ditching in the sea.... Weak point is the rear wheel attachments - wheels stay on by the bolts becoming threadbound (screwed in until you run out of thread) - this allows the inner race of the bearing to rotate on the axle which then screws the bolts out. If you pack this with washers you then find the bearing spacers are too short and and the bearings lock up. I cured this by making new spacers and thin locknuts for the axles - the bolts now stay with the wheels and the whole thing bolts on to the cross tube. The whole thing goes into a very small space and dis/ - assembles quickly with little tool (supplied) input. Overall? - I've had loads of fun in it and haven't broken it yet. Yes I've had to fiddle with the bearings, but I can and and it was a bargain. By : NImbus
