It would be nice though to chat about kites and the like with him mind (as well as a personal interest I have of one day wanting to send a "message in bottle" in the hope it reaches far shores! Just thought typing reply's here in this thread may "gleam" a reply from Eifion!

Was a question of that showing the fat part meant you was'nt respecting the style of wearing it the thin way though id be more likley to say Eifion.

Only issue is we seem to be the only ones who don't break those rules..... Lol. Unluess you mean the English (on a whole), for me personaly i'd disagree.

Rules are meant to be broken (to a degree) I think. Look at Eifion and how we wore/wear our School Ties as a good example

I think this was more as a mark of respect to wearing it the thin way/side showing. Cos obviously you'd of been dissed for eternity wearing it as Eifon said but showing the proper part as well.

Yes you can, and they can film you. There's no law against photographing - and by extension filming, anyone in a public place, even if they don't want to be filmed. Using a long lens to film someone in their own home or garden, where they can reasonably expect privacy is different, but if someone's out in public, they can be filmed. Even children. Though in the current climate you'd be a bit daft to go out filming kids, there's no law against it. Hi Eifon, I think you are 101% correct in saying this about there being no law.I think it is just the PC do-gooders who like and who'd like to make people believe and think this more than anything.

Hi Hope i'm not breaking any rules posting after so long, just as i've seen the Forum before and never got round to joining. Seeing the post's about "School Fad's" convinced me to join. I recall this tie thing very well too b.t.w Eifon. Very trendy!
