Relisted due to time waster

Yeah I've not seen any other boards with the same layout yet. But we are nearing the time of year when all the manufacturers will be releasing their new kit. I’m pretty sure no brand wants to copy another’s design, but it’ll be interesting to see if anyone else tries something similar or to improve on it. I’m looking forward to the reaction towards the Wainman Joke once enough people see it. That’s something pretty damn special there...

Same factory that produced the old Blunt, yes. Sorry I thought you meant they were producing the new boards. Andy I replied to you on the kiteboarder forum saying: As for the whole design theft... I think its pretty difficult to accuse a company of stealing a design in this sport. Unless you have a product that has a uniqueness about it that is patentable you've got no chance. Its all about innovation, and if people think that Wainman is coming up with new and innovative products that other companies might like to follow and that customers are stoked with the gear, then they're doing a fantastic job.

Likening Wainman to Best? I’m no fan of brand bashing and only say what I believe to be true, I disagree that Wainman have the same marketing tactics that Best had a few years ago... As for not hearing anything bad or middle of the road about the Gang and the products, could it be that Wainman are producing a genuinely great product and have customers that are content and enthusiastic?

Few little changes but nothing too serious. They have shaved about an inch or so of width from each size. Improved the flex at the tips and made the rails slightly thicker. Also slightly heavier than last years model but hardly noticeable. Glad to hear your loving your Blunt, get a go on a Joke if you can and let us know what you think. I'll be getting mine in a few weeks, more than happy to let you have a go if you fancy it;)

The Joke is the new Wake style board from Wainman Hawaii. It’s sort of Niccolo's pro model if you like. It’s a fantastic ride with a unique design. There is a slight convex at the centre of the base which makes the water flow around it, making it fly upwind and give a cleaner release when popping. It also makes flat landings soft and effortless. This 'bubble' then runs into a Double concave in the tips for finless riding and improved grip. It truly is a work of art and the base even glows in the dark. How freaking cool is that? Definitely another benchmark board from the Gang.
