Any idea's on why my 9m keeps spazing out, ive had it since 07 and flown it in mental winds many times when ive lent my 7m and had 100% confidence in it to stay in shape and it always has done. Recently its been fitting out and inverting even in reasonable 9m winds and I have no faith in looping it anymore, the dump value has been coming out a little but today it inverted on a relaunch in moderate winds and I checked it after and it was still solid. Could the bridle be stretched? Ive heard people taking the pullies off the back lines, would this help or does the front bridle effect the jellyfishing of it? cheers no waroo bashing, can't afford new kites this year.

06 GK sonic, all the forum hype and we got one and it was appaling, didn't fly, stalled, fell out of sky everytime enless it was nuking. Million and one bridle settings and none of them worked and the bar was absolutley crap with the worst chicken loop ever that hung on by a thread. People defended it to the death on the forums, I dunno what their motive was for doing so because I don't think ive ever seen one in the air for more than 3 minutes and never heard anyone say a good word about them on the beach.

People are extremely quick to shout fake these days, look at any YouTube video showing anything amazing and there's always a bunch of people proclaiming it to be fake, but I think in this case these 2 pics are most definitely faked.

I keep meaning to do this actually, untie the knot under the ball above the chicken loop, pull through till you get the depower throw you want then re-tie the knot. the back lines will be longer than the front so you will need to go up a knot or 2 to compensate. You can work it out exactly, just measure the depower throw before and after you shorten it but dont judge your measurement by the amount the pull through because remember the rope goes up and down.

People prefer the 08 because it has front and back line flag out, the 07's only have back line flag out. The chicken loop and release ant great but the bar is nice and simple to use and very comfy, plus really cheap and easy to get 2nd hand compared to other bars. Not the best but good value.

leashing on to the depower rope just above the chicken loop is perfectly safe if the kite is flown in its wind range and is what all the riders I know do and like I said once you start unhooking this is the best option. Just checked 08 bar has front line flag out if you really want to kill the kite completely. Apart from the real crappy chicken loop the best bar is pretty nice and simple
