Thanks for all your help, does the spec change much over the years, the one I am going to look at is a 52 plate 2.5tdi. It has been boarded out, and I assume used for work.

Cheers for that, do you know what the interval is for changing the cam belt, come to think about, whats the standard service interval on these vans?

to all you VW Transporters owners out there, can you help? I am looking to purchase one of these to cart the families buggys to the beach , have found one which I am hoping to look at tomorrow, are there any known issues I need to look out for ??? Cheers Mika

sorry couldn't make it up spent Saturday running around after Halfords for a trailer, which was no good without an axle... won't see you peeps for a while, off to that "secret location" on Friday for a week, hope for some quality buggy'in

yeah know what you mean, I was just using mine as an example... although just thought that the winter months are free, so cost would be less

sounds good, I would be interested if it can be arranged. £2.50 a day, twice a month £5, a year £60, I'm sure a permit would work out better, plus it would save on tickets for those who forgot, like I usually nearly do...
