harry_a Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 i have an enquiry... does it actually work Quote
Bertie Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 why are you all ruining his thread? keep your thoughts to yourself, would you be happy if you were selling it and everyone else was slagging it off? and harry, seriously, you have an arc 1510 with the depower range of a small carrot and you are taking the **** out of his kite?!?!? Jimneybob Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 I bought one of these and with a little tweeking (8" added to each brake line) then it flies nice. Plus I use different handles and lines with mine. It can really spank your backside in a similar manner to a blade. Not saying that it is as good as a Blade but £50 is cheap for the amount of power you can get out of it. Quote
socomfragger Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 hahaha!! small carrot! love it man!! owned lol Quote
MADB Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I used to have one of these and would agree with Jimneybob, Its an ok kite, a bit heavy and it will sock up water like a sponge but can be quite fast acutely and a far amount of lift, once tweeked. A lot of kite for your money Quote
kite crazy Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 lol bertie you kicked their asses... love it Quote
nobby Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 why are you all ruining his thread? keep your thoughts to yourself, would you be happy if you were selling it and everyone else was slagging it off? and harry, seriously, you have an arc 1510 with the depower range of a small carrot and you are taking the **** out of his kite?!?!? well i'm gonna jump in and echo what harry and fergus said. i've seen one of these 'kites' 'fly', and would not reccomend them to anyone. i'd like to see people on here buy good, usable kites, and seeing as the seller has but a single post, i'll try to help the community. stick it on ebay (where you got it from?) and hope some chav fool bids plenty for it. epik, no. pig, yes. msilcocks Posted November 6, 2006 Author Report Posted November 6, 2006 fair crack thanks guys for the support what a group hey. Quote
nobby Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 dont let it get you down, if anything its a sign of a good forum. i'm sorry to jump in on your for sale thread, its something i usually hate people doing, but i feel that the pig i saw flew so bad, i'd warn anyone here off of one. thats not to say they havn't sorted them out since, or that they are even worse now. other people have posted that its a lot of kite for the money, and that they work fine. take whatever you like from this mix of opinions... as for support, you'll find lots on here... you'll get even more if you bother to introduce yourself, say hello etc before using the place to flog your unwanted gear. /my 2p Quote
