andrewjohn
That's a very slick advert. Deck looks sick. Love the recessed fittings.

slide
yes it is - i'm gonna slowly build this into a titanium shod beauty
slide
paid for and saw the 2 lumps of titanium that andy will machine into my new titanium basepts today - expected delivery after Christmas. ...LB77 is gonna be the F1 version of the CKB kite deck range with beautiful curves -and maybe the lightest (not sure what happened to the sub 3kgs CKB ) , but roll on the new year when my new CKB carbon bounce machine wheels should roll for the first time

heres jonny
My CKB proto deck weighs in at 4.6kg complete, so look forward to seeing how light you can make this beauty!
slide
4.6 kgs , and is that with expensive heavy footstraps and big heavy buckles, and alloy foot binding brackets, and the mbs titanium trucks , that still have the brake brackets on - I have a pair of the mbs titanium trucks, that i have taken about 60-80 grams shaved off each truck , and they still haven't bent -titanium is very corrosion proof , way stronger than stainless and much lighter
heres jonny
It does have Carbon and titanium stub axle trucks fitted It does have MBS F4 bindings though, could shave a bit more with some CKB footstraps and carbon L brackets I suppose Prototype design so doesn't use baseplates hence weight saving
slide
I've seen the CKB decks with the built in baseplts and I've always fancied one, and I did think about those trucks with the carbon wraps , but they would suffer the odd hit by stones , as there are several at my local - so I'm gonna stick with the shaved down mbs titanium trucks
time for tea
Ti baseplates sounds interesting slide . Is this a one off for you ? Im hoping for some weight loss after Christmas ;-) . Got some carbon brackets from paul but complete trucks was not in my price range .
