Chris Bainbridge Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 12m Best Nemesis HP, in black and red, I've barely flown this kite its been out of the bag maybe about 5 times max, so it's in perfect condition, complete with 55cm Bar and Lines again barely used. These kites r2f cost over £800 new so I'm looking for £500. Any questions PM me. Thanks for looking. Quote
louisemarson Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 You're selling your baby???? What is going on in this world! Bump for a good kite and a good seller. Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 7, 2008 Author Report Posted August 7, 2008 Bump, this kite flies like a dream. Quote
kiteboarding Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 these are going for around 400 used on ebay... Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 10, 2008 Author Report Posted August 10, 2008 Maybe so, but this kite is genuinely in a fantastic condition. Used on Ebay usually means thats its been used an average amount, which is considerably more than my kite has, that and the fact that its on Ebay for a quick sale is reflected in the lower prices that can be found on auction sites as opposed to a private sale. I'm open to offers, I don't know exactly how much a specific 2nd hand kite is worth and I don't know exactly when newer models are coming out either, which obviously affects older models resale prices. I'm barely kiting anymore so I'm downgrading to a worn out 11m 07 Waroo as I'm really hard up at the moment and simply can't afford to keep the Nemmy, although its a much better kite. Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 Bump, anyone interested? Quote
Katoe Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Am interested but a brand new one goes for £550 coupled with the fact that the 09's come out in three weeks....If I buy a new car then sell it straight away its still second hand even though it only has one hundred on the clock..... I think you should be aiming for £300-350 realistically..... Quote
Morgan Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 these kites rock, flew a 10 couple weekends back in 20-25knots and it was rockin so much power and lift and it loops really fast. have a bump Quote
spooky Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Am interested but a brand new one goes for £550 coupled with the fact that the 09's come out in three weeks....If I buy a new car then sell it straight away its still second hand even though it only has one hundred on the clock..... I think you should be aiming for £300-350 realistically..... Year right £300-350 So do us a favour and tell us where you can get one of these for £550? I've only seen them KITE ONLY for that price. And why do you say the 09's are nearly here? Alot of the manufactures are shying away form "Annual" releases as the market can not take it, hence why alot of teh names are changing from the 06 or 07 version. And the fact that supply is generally slow to start with (very few even meet their release date) as they are waiting to see what the demand is for teh new kite so as to see how many to make?? PLUS even when they do release new ones annually they tend not to do all sizes, ie for teh winter it will be 7/9m ones as they are the ones that will sell best. So if people are seriousley interested in this kite, make him an offer, I'm sure he will give a yes or now answer lol If not interested then leave him be. Have fun, Jon Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 12, 2008 Author Report Posted August 12, 2008 Thanks for all the bumps guys, yeah the 09's may be out in a few weeks, but with Best the reality is they wont be easy to get hold of for a good few months. Quote

djstrauss281 Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 well i sold my 10 complete for 450 on ebay and thought that was pretty cheap, 300 - 350 is just silly Quote
kiteboarding Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200241516234&ssPageName=ADME:B:ONA:GB:1123 sold for 360 and was perfect condition, he is a team rider for a shop down south. the new kites come out this month, 12m nemi 08 is now only worth 300-350 Quote
spooky Posted August 13, 2008 Report Posted August 13, 2008 But again Kite only. And as we know bars and lines make up a BIG part of teh cost now adays Jon Quote
djstrauss281 Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 yep dont i know it after a 45cm 07 bar and lines and cant get anything second hand under a 100, anyways, free bump ps kiteboarding you reckon an 08 nemi is worth 300 - 350, but yet you are trying to sell your 07 waroos for more then that, strange? Quote
gordo Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Top bloke to deal with and end of the day make him an offer worst he can say is no Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 15, 2008 Author Report Posted August 15, 2008 Thanks for the bumps and the kind words gordo. I've lowered my price to £550 ready to fly if anyone is interested. Quote
simon1976 Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200241516234&ssPageName=ADME:B:ONA:GB:1123 sold for 360 and was perfect condition, he is a team rider for a shop down south. the new kites come out this month, 12m nemi 08 is now only worth 300-350 Sorry to stick my nose in here but being a shop rider probably means the kite owes him nothing so he is bound to sell it for cheap anyway, sounds like its and isolated case anyway. Why does everyone want something for nothing?? i agree the original price was a bit high but now £550 is more in line i would have thought, especially if it really is in the condition the man says it is. Chris Bainbridge Posted August 18, 2008 Author Report Posted August 18, 2008 Come on people I'm pretty keen to sell this kite, someone make me an offer. Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 19, 2008 Author Report Posted August 19, 2008 £500, come on people this is a great kite, in great condition, now at a great price. Quote
kite geek Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 TBH I would even pay that little bit more to get a kite from a private sale, purely because you can never trust Ebay. Anyway, for £500 that is a LOT of kite. Good luck with the sale. James Quote
Rushmore Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 The nemi is powerhouse of a kite, deffo not for the beginner though.. if i had the money, i'd snap this up pronto! Quote
Chris Bainbridge Posted August 21, 2008 Author Report Posted August 21, 2008 Bump, roll up roll up, this fantastic kite is for still for sale. Quote
