  4. Just to clear up any confusion here is the content of a pm I sent earlier. Oh and for what it's worth I prayed for him last night, did you ???? My feelings go out to Ross and his parents, the fact they are not bringing him round until after his surgery is perfectly normal to interfere beforehand can cause comatosis. "Major Injuries" can cover a whole deal of issues, do you know what specifically? You don't think his father would share my joke, maybe not at the moment BUT I'm sure he will in the future, providing all goes well. This is exactly the right time for humour believe me, I have seen many many people traumatised and in major shock after all sorts of injuries, and it is now that they appreciate it most, at least someone is willing to talk to them and help them, while others just walk away unable to come to terms with what has happened. Only when you have been there and done that would I think you are qualified to talk about such a thing, I have it ain't clever it ain't funny (unless there still alive and you are trying to give them the will to live) and it ain't something I particularly enjoyed, but I did it because I could cope with it, at the time, since then however I find out I am suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)(a fact which until today only 2 people on here knew about) and that is partly why I have the attitude I have towards acidents and such like. I would be the first to dive in and help this guy if I had been on the scene, others would stand and watch, they are the ones who need help as they simply cannot deal with it, not everyone can. If we don't see eye to eye on this I'm sorry, but it's because I believe passionately that humour is acceptable at all times, especially if it raises a smile . In the meantime my sincere best regards go to Ross and his family along with my humour, best regards Gray aka Agger. My sincere thanks to those that have sent me PM's an rep points as support

  6. Hi Lem, i am also from the glorious sunshine isle. I fly with the lone wolf when we arent at uni. The best beaches that we use are yaverland, this is good in anything from the south or south east really. You can find it by driving to sandown and following the coast eastwards(with the beach on your right). It is one of the main kitesurfing spots but when the tide is out it is great for landboarding. There is a car park that looks onto the beach. But be careful of the groynes. The other good place is ryde sands, around appley area. This beach is massive and is really good with anything with a northerly in it. If you go to ryde then follow the sea front along from the pier with the beach on your left, there is parking all the way along untill you reach the inshore rescue, basically choose your spot because there is so much beach! The biggest problem here however is that there is such a strong current when the tide is in that it creates sand that has ripples in it, which can take it out of you after some time. There are also lots of sand banks which create cool puddles etc to power through, but watch out for the tide! Again best at low tide, but the tide goes out so far that you can have a massivly long session there! But yaverland is easily the better of the two. Hope this helps, and i hope you have good winds. Kev.

  7. EASY! Wear a helmet and don't get too frustrated! I agree with Steve about the bar, MUCH easier to use, less to cock up/confuse you when you want to get the board moving.

  9. I find it hard to see why someone has given me a bad reputation point for my previous post in this thread, especially as they didn't even have the balls to leave a message and identify themselves. Anyway, I have decided to buy an ATB now, I need more bruises. sorry, sodemall
