nigel
Well, the tides are looking fantastic for the September long weekend that is the AFL finals. Low tide at Waratah Bay: Friday 27th of Sept: 12:28pm Saturday 28th: 1:20pm Sunday 29th: 2:19pm If anyone has school age children, this is the middle weekend of the Victorian September school holidays . With the abysmal lack of quality winds over the last few years for any planned event, I am not holding my breath. We should know about a week out if the conditions are going to be any good or not. I will just do a day trip if the conditions are good, but, if it's looking stellar, I might stay down there for a night and get two days in. All Buggiers and Land boarders welcome, even those Blokarts (Blokart tipping should be an Olympic sport ) Fingers crossed we can get out for a run, and usually there is very little traffic on the roads on the Saturday. And even less people on the beach on the Saturday Arvo!!!! .Joel and RedSky
nigel
Well Mother Nature has done it again! Another abysmal forecast for any chance of a buggy this weekend. With light Easterlies forecast, and fine weather, cross offshore is no good. And a big rain event on the Sunday Arvo to dampen any spirits I might have had left. You would think that for the Footy final, a Winter sport, there would be conditions to match, but, no. So sad to say but I will not be heading off to Sandy Point any time over the weekend. Fingers crossed for a run come my Christmas/New Year Holidays. Back to polishing the buggy.
