twojaythomo
I have been reading a lot of the forum post but having trouble finding information on getting wider tyres for the standard PL plastic rims and what size tyre will fit inside the narrow fork. I don't mind having fatter rears as the beach around here has soft sand.
andy666
Only the standard wide tyre will fit inside a narrow PL fork. the wide tyres that still fit the standard PL plastic rims were called midi’s I can’t remember the sizes of the top of my head. Maybe @Chook can help. Chook
Chook
I'm not much help Andy as I'm not up to speed on a Peter lynn buggy. Just this from https://www.buggykiteshop.com/wheel-spares/wheel.html
twojaythomo
Thanks Chook I'll check it out see if I can get some tyre sizing. I was basically after the maximum width tyre for the rears and aim for the widest tyre that can go on the front forks.
Ryan Stotts
The Peter Lynn buggy had 3 possible front forks. The older models had a narrow front fork that could only fit a Barrow. The later XL buggies had a fork that could handle a MIDI. Then the Bigfoot buggy could handle a Bigfoot Lite and that fork was also available as an option. The big, Bigfoot tires are both getting hard to find and expensive when you do find them. A taller version of the midi is much more common now. This is a really good deal considering the TYPE of wheel that is included: https://www.facebook.com/MG-KITES-212075895488511/
