Standard leaders attached and can be flown off any bar with single front line or 5th line safety. For EK member I will include the vpc bridle. Kite only without spars to save on postage. Maybe that's the way you operate you shady business, with lies and deceit. But most people are like that. it is genuinely brand new, unflown. I made it from 2 brand new 16m f-arcs I bought from Joel and only finished sewing it up a few hours ago. mik333, Darren Tibbey and nigel

For the record @andy666, my reputation up here is safe and sound. Not sure if you're referring to some other type up here that breaks promises, delivers months later, and calls himself The Prince of Pallarenda? What a joke. andy666

Landslide
How come the lead is obtuse? With an obtuse angle you will luff and dive without auto zenith ?

I think you mean concave? i didn't rebuild and re-profile the entire kite, I just added a few cells. What makes you think that it won't fly? Is that your professional opinion from years of kite design? The kite will fly and is probably more stable and less prone to collapse then my 12m f-arc. How do I know? Because I have already built one and tested the design previously. how about this? If anyone buys the kite and it doesn't fly, I'll give them a full refund. .Joel
Landslide
'Obtuse' as opposite to 'acute'. Simply geometry ? Good luck with your trials.

Obtuse 1: (of an angle) more than 90° and less than 180° So yes, the leading edge is obtuse, because it is not dead straight 180°. But then these kites leading edges are also "obtuse" by your "obtuse" logic, would they also fall out of the sky? once again I believe the word you are looking for is CONCAVE. or are you too obtuse. Obtuse 2: annoyingly insensitive or slow to understand. Hmm let's have a look at some pictures of other early model arcs and compare the leading edge profile. All of them CONCAVE. Finally, the 1830 f-arc I am trying to sell is not a "trial", it is a tested and proven design. SoutherlyBuster

Naish swiped it for the Cult/Helix kites, but it was a Peter Lynn design from ages back. There's a very good reason behind it, and IIRC there was even a post on the Peter Lynn Himself blog explaining it . . . can't be buggered finding it. andy666

Landslide
Dude, I see you are quite upset by this. I have had fun at your expense, and that is bad of me. I apologise for upsetting you, and being so childish. It's just that you wouldn't let go. I know this is no excuse for behaving this way. Even if the lead edge is Obtuse, Concave, Convex or simply bent, I truly hope you sell your kite. Again I appologise for taking the piss, and using this professional forum as the platform to make jest of yourself and the kite you have created. I believe such forum could be held, and in earnest, do some piss take of our fellow kiters. Alas this is a buy and sell forum. My bad
andy666
Don't worry @Landslide, honestly i was never upset by you. It takes a lot more then someone like you to really upset me But I obviously got under your skin. Since after trying to bully me on eBay into selling you the kite for less then 25% of my asking price, you felt the need to come over to this forum and continue to put me and the kite I made down. When it's obvious to everyone here that you have absolutely know idea what you are talking about. the irony of the situation is that you said you only wanted the kite for the material, and I have heaps of material left over from making two 1830 kites. More then you would get from just this kite and if you had just asked me politely, instead of trying to be manipulative, I probably would if sent you some. But that will never happen now. @Landslide, you have been good for a laugh though and thanks to your stupidity I have at least given other a bit more info about how the kite was made and arc kite design. Plus it kept my thread at the top of the buy and sell page Goz
