Northern Kites Australia
I am playing around with building my own foil but to suit my twin tip boards (like that click-and-go type I've seen on utube). What size kite and in what winds are advised for someone around 80 pies as I am? Thanks
Kamikuza
Same size you'd ride the TT with, powered enough to be able to return to your starting point but no further upwind. 12 knots or more, but the most important thing is it's consistent. plummet
Use a same size until you are at touch and go stage then downsize, Rule of thumb. if you can relaunch your kite you have a session. Northern Kites Australia
Northern Kites Australia
Yep in other words, just try something and then adjust I just didn't want to go out in 15knots on a 12m kite and find myself out in the middle of the bay trying to get back. Should be fun though yes pics will come
