Hill gliding in Australia

Recommended Posts

cool pictures. Not that I will ever try it, but how do you do it? It looks like the kite is pointed in the direction your gliding towards? If that's the case then is the wind at your back? I've always wondered about that because on a normal jump static or with a board the kite is pointed upwind and the rider and kite are carried downwind.

Hi ssayre

I'm actually flying into the wind with the bar spun around 180, its a bit like paragliding using the wind blowing up the hill. The last photo is me looping up the hill , then i just turn around and fly down

Thanks Darren

Nah, Pat hasn't come out yet, i bet he's keen to get down here soon.Epic snow cover at the moment, if anyone was thinking of snow kiting , this season is the one to try it out.
