parksy
Thats pretty cool. Already comercial? Not commercial idscasper, Paul @ CKB Boards had done a few runs of boards and has dabbled with carbon trucks and boards with integrated base plates, but the labour involved is rediculous, these are prototype trucks/ baseplates and are currently under test. they are soooooooo beautiful though haha

zerogee
To an electric-Outback mountainboard for those nowind days. Some test runs to get used to the throttle, the ride and turning without a kite for balance. On the lot before hitting the trail. On a paved trail with hills. [video=youtube;t-eEnsfrp44] Taking it offroad with some tree runs and terrain. Edited November 19, 2014 by zerogee
andrewjohn
Due to last winters weather, spring and summers lack of wind, and a SUP sustained knee injury it's been a year since I've kited. But found these bad boys on eBay to replace my P Revos that had suffered some serious corrosion. The best bit was, they only cost me £26. I had to make some brackets to mount them to the board, so laid up a bit of carbon fibre, Then bolted into place. The nice thing with Revo's is that they'll work mounted either way, so with the bracket I've essentially made a pair of P's from standard Revo's. So, now the storms are back I'm all set to get back on four wheels again, as the knees OK and the waves are to big to SUP. CKB
This one took a long time to complete ( 4.8 Kilos) and is probably the last for a while. bakersdozen
@.Joel no worries. Glad to be able to bring all this absolute goodness back to life. Most of the images were restored - only those with dead links remain. If anyone wants to amend their posts from the past with the right photos, just me a PM and we can fix it up. I have also put most of these into a new Board Gallery, for viewing pleasure, located here; I will monitor this thread and add any new pictures into the gallery as well. So, who's next - @m.klinge @Mfwetu i'm looking at you guys. And @Pari once your new board is pimped and ready please 😃 Mfwetu
Mfwetu
My ride is the equivalent of a 2008 Holden Astra - no pics please I have some interesting bits to put together but it's taking a while. ANOTHER unfinished project
bakersdozen
Here's mine. Started life as a GI Flight Lite. Then velcro bindings, revos and granny wheels were added (good old MBS 3 spoke hubs). Then after some time, I had longer axles made up 100mm wider. Then a make-over with the board being patched up a little and carbon fibre vinyl wrapped, new grip tape & Trampa grab handle added. The most recent addition was MBS F5 bindings. Pari
You should get yourself some black granny tires to complete the coolness factor. This is the Aliexpress place. You get tire and tubes so it works out a good deal. But if you order more than two at a time you get stung for a lot of postage, but up to two and postage is cheap. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000910816058.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.382a648eif8pFD bakersdozen

Renato Borowski Filho
Yesterday I managed to reach another breakthrough on my board. The wheels were printed on the 3D printer and for shape I used a very hard wood that ended up cracking in a small jump that I stopped. I will soon have a more suitable board, but for now this will be my option for my NASA 4m kite. bakersdozen
