Awesome job @Angus Johnstone When this lockdown lifts, hopefully you can make it out for a buggy run with us! Might have to pull an over nighter at Sandy Point!

Hey @Kozzie, Kingston SE in an annual trip over to South Australia mid January with most of the Victorian's (and a handful from NSW and ACT and one WA) heading over to have a couple of weeks flying, buggying, chasing me in my blo-fly (Land Yacht) etc. But with the current boarder closures, it might be on hold for a while. All the best Mez

Sorry @KaoS - I missed this post before posting my own "reach out" Hoping you and Mrs. Kaos are both well? It seems as though your lockdowns are a little different than Victoria's, seeing some kite flying in SA obeying social distancing. Victorian police are fining anyone who shouldn't be out. Essential Shopping, Education/Work, Exercise and Medical are the only activities we are allowed to attend. Exercise....I wonder if taking Tula the 38 Trilobite out for a walk is classified exercise? We're blessed with a big garden to keep us busy, but also blessed with the tall trees, so no g

I just wanted to reach out and wish everyone good health and keep smiling. Share your stories if you’re bored, you know we’d love to hear them. All the best to you all From Mez and Doug (@igeighty)

We've been quite quiet on the forum lately but I thought to fill you all in with what's been going on with ourselves. Doug and I have taken a liking even more to the static flying and have been moving about the south east attending various kite festivals over the past couple of years. Yesterday we were flying at the 2020 Rosebud Kite Festival. This year the festival seemed to have lost its flare, but we still managed to have a kite or two in the air and got to hang out with the likes of fellow buggyer's @nigel and @The Duke. Its always nice to catch up with friends with like-minded hobbies.

I think that sounds like a bloody great idea - not to forget Beachport now has us putting on an annual organised display - around about the 18th January. Speak with Ian at AKFA.
-
Sorry to hear this Trevor. To all reading, Trevor looks after his kiting gear so you can be sure that Trevor's distribution of the kiting gear will be precise. Just sad that we will not buggy together again. All the best from us both

Had to upload this photo. Tibbey's brother-in-law is a photographer and captured this excellent picture of the "Tamer" Here is "Blob Marley" and two of the white Trilobites. I think its a great photo.

No.2!!! Congratulations, you kept that quiet!!!! Robyn passed away last Australia Day and since then her family were selling off a lot of Sandy Grove's property. I wish I could have homed her guinea fowl. @jhn.holgate - We will be arriving on the 18th and I'll pack the bike.
-
@nigel and @mik333 Still keen on a 20th/21st run?
-
Due to the weather, this event has been moved to Sunday 8th December - all details remain the same.
