  1. I know mate! Are there no big fellas out there without a jigsaw? lol
  2. I must admit its too great a board to be cutting down.... its not a bad price tho for a trampa board.
  3. Hi Andy Its for the bigger chaps... 88-127kg(14-20 Stones) From the Trampa Website Kind regards Andy
  4. Hi Guys Well here is my trampa in great condition. Bought in the summer from a great guy on the `Bay` for fun on the beach. Ive got no more room in the Garage to store it and havent had much time to fly of late. The Talon ratchet footstraps work well but the stitching has just started to come away. Red Primo Lite tyres are in great condition. £180 posted, uk only or you can collect from Cardiff if you like. Ill be away from today until Friday, but will be back over the weekend to respond to any queries.
  5. How many ply is this board? what weight does it hold?
  6. I have recently joined the kiting world and prior to my purchase, i had been statically honing my skills on a Radsail 1.8m. I have been looking at an unhappy mans face for ages fo i thought i would give this review a go. I ordered the kite after conducting my extensive research on this site. I am a 6foot 1 inch man at 17 stones. I would like to say its muscle but thats denial. Research I must say that, in my opinion, I can thoroughly recommend this forum site to obtain enough information to make an informed kite purchase. The previous reviews were very helpful for the beginner as well as the how to section of this site. I chose a day with limited wind to hone my skills. The Kite The kite is well presented, red and grey Beamer bag with the famous large zip. Although there isnt much space behind the zip, its a great place to store the Wind meter in an accessible position. The second pocket is more roomy which can store handles, wound lines and kite killers. The kite itself is Bright YELLOW, well stitched with reinforced air entry inlets, The kite stitching was flawless. Wow. After attaching the lines as per the instructions and remembering all the advice on here, i pulled on the handles. I must say that the instructions are very clear and although i have not yet progressed to proper powerkiting as i do not have a buggy or board, there were tips for that too. The kite killers are comfortable and as instructed by this site, they worked well when tested. The ground stake is well made with the HQ label on the outside of the sleeve. They think of everything. The flight The kite sailed to the zenith effortlessly and waited for the next instruction. The bright yellow kite had some presence in the sky let me tell you. At 6 mph, or enough wind to rustle the leaves on the tops of the trees, the power zone still produced enough pull to drag me. Despite my weight above, i was pulled forward by a couple of metres. The pull was not too aggressive though and i certainly did not land flat on my face like some people on You tube. I was able to spin, figure of eight, circle with i high degree of control from the kite. The kite did not luff or catch at the edge of the wind window and the brakes were very responsive as all the other reviews had mentioned. I was able to hover the kite once i got used to it and it was then when i realised that this was the reason for choosing a quad kite. Summary Well, can you tell that i love the kite yet. Its a great beginners kite with enough pull to give me the adrenaline rush for buggying later on. You really have lots of control although I would say that treating the kite with the utmost respect is in order. If you have any doubts about this kite, i recommend you see it in its full glory for yourself in the video that Jerry has produced. Actions really do speak louder than words.
